Well it's been a while. I'm tempted to make a new DA account just to start clean, I hate half the stuff in here and it makes me look schizophrenic.

I'm in Juneau now, the new house is lovely, I have a huge room with two big windows, still no chair though. It's a little strange living in a place that's completely cut off from the rest of the world, but I rather like it. Can't leave except by plane or by boat, so that's pretty cool. And good for the zombie apocalypse.

I'm still perpetually torn between many different goals, ideas, wants and styles, so I'm not making it very far in any one direction. Still I guess it is technically my summer break, even if I'll never be going back to school again. (Yay, I graduated!)

Currently I'm working on a few different projects, I might be doing a comic and I'm getting paid for some small children's book deal, self published by some moms and the like so it's no biggie, but it's paid work and that's nice. Plus they want three whole books so it'll be a lot of money in the long run, and good experience. It's exceptionally simple so I don't really like the illustrations, but it's way better than what they were working with before. Anywho if I decide to start a new DA I might put up the name here or something, I'm not sure.

So, apparently every website I go to breaks xD First DA wouldn't update or load after I tried to submit this journal entry, and then colourlovers.com goes down after I search for a green and pink color scheme. Hopefully this time it will work -crosses fingers-

Okay! So, I'm going to clean house on this account and get it kicking again, I just found the password on a piece of paper after cleaning my apartment, and since I didn't have access to the e-mail that it was registered with, I was stranded! But I'm back now and have changed my e-mail to one that's... actually mine. Yay.

So, lots of things will be going in scraps, and there will be much updating done.

Also, I got into Society of Illustrators LA West 47, yay! I'll be in their gallery sometime in the spring they said, and I have no idea when the book comes out, it's an annual. Either way, that was/is nifty.

Alright. I know talking politics is shit right now, but this just made me sad.

I agree. Especially since she was found GUILTY in the 'Troopergate' trial which was all about pressuring a brother-in-law to be fired. So she can pressure that guy for no reason other than it benefits her family/extended family, but wont bring these people to justice- People who shoot wolf puppies in the head?

I don't know how people can live with themselves, knowing they shot puppies. I don't care what kind of young they are, fucking... infants. And yet they're so PRO LIFE.

And just think, Palin would be one heart attack or fatal whatever from a 72 year old man (72, I'm sorry, that's fucking old. THE AVERAGE AMERICAN MALE LIFE EXPECTANCY IS 75, IF THIS GUY WINS HE'S LIKELY TO CROAK DURING HIS PRESIDENCY) And then just think, she'll be in charge of helping to take care of all the US species.
