This is my younger sister, Kala. She's a bit of a wild child, she's into that whole emo-preppy-goth phase, you know the ones where it's all melted together now? Psh, not back in my day. Well, there's a 6 year gap between us, and she's the very 'different' one of the 3 sisters.

Anyway, third illustrator file ever, it was a lot easier than the rest since I've started to figure out what I'm doing and how to do things.

how weird is this... I can understand, read and sing in Tagalog, BUT i can't speak it very well..... it just doesn't make any sense..

Thanks, illustrator is really tricky! I'm getting the hang of it though, methinks. Now only to figure out how to properly work the folders in the layers thing...

I have an older version of Illustrator, version 9, but I'm a nerd so I like using it occassionally. I have to admit I'm still a bit behind on the use of gradient meshes. XB (I probably have an advantage because I learned how to use at least part of it in classes years ago.)

I was just trying to teach myself with the trial version of Illustrator 3 there, with the idea that I shouldn't know nothing about it when going into digital illustration this semester. Turns out I didn't need to know anything anyway because the teacher is completely and utterly useless. I asked him something about rearranging my layers or taking them out of the folders, and he stared at me blankly for a few minutes before going off to talk about flattening the image and saving it to web. The guy is utterly useless, and I'm pretty sure that he's high all the time, lol.

Man, that's pretty frustrating. I hope you're not going to an expensive school or anything, because that's an absolute waste of money on that guy. >_<
